The Indian Administrative Services (IAS) is the governing body of all All India Services. NOTE – paper A and B are of qualifying nature, and the remaining seven papers are of a merit ranking nature.

After qualifying both prelims and mains, the last round is an interview or personality test for 275 marks; the questions are purely based on hobbies, current affairs, general knowledge, situation questions, and many more. This round is conducted to evaluate an individual’s ability to handle the upcoming pressure of making decisions for the country’s betterment. The interview round is held only in UPSC Bhavan in New Delhi
